Introduction

However, setting up a privacy framework for your organisation does not need to be an overly academic process layered with complexity. The key ingredients are simply a sound knowledge of the Information Privacy Principles and obligations under the Privacy Act 1993, a sprinkling of common sense and a genuine commitment to treating the personal information people entrust to your organisation with care.
